More and more landlords are renting out their apartments through brokerage firms such as Ideální nájemce, Dokonalý nájemník and others. Today there are thousands of apartments in Prague and the number will continue to grow. A group of people who have experience with them have come together in the Tenants’ Initiative (INN). These fall far short of the promises of a professional company that provides decent housing and respects tenants. Now we want to improve our situation together.

That is why we have invited Lenka Veselá, a lawyer from the Tenants Association of the Czech Republic (SON), to a public meeting. She will explain:
 How do these companies bend the law to restrict tenants’ rights?
 What to watch out for?
 How can the laws help (sub)tenants?
How does this relate to the overall housing crisis that affects all people living in rented accommodation?

In addition to the lecture, there will be a joint discussion with space for:
 Sharing and exchanging experiences with other (under)tenants
 Presenting ways to fight back together and achieve better conditions.
