Punktum – Krásovka
TOPIC: Why do social excluded localities arise?
Guest: Václav Walach
Much has been heard in recent years about social excluded localities and the poverty business. But rarely are these concepts discussed in depth in the context of the housing crisis. So, at the November public meeting of the Tenants’ Initiative, we will be asking what are socially excluded localities, how did they come about and what are the challenges of living in them?
These and other questions will be answered by criminologist Václav Walach, who focuses, among other things, on offences and crimes related to rental housing.
The public meeting will take place on 14 November again in Punctum (Krásova 27), which is the easiest to reach from the Viktoria Žižkov tram stop.
After the public meeting, you can enjoy an informal get-together and ping pong .
You can also consult with members of the Initiative about your problems in rental housing and with a social worker about the housing allowance.
